| Antonio Rudiger could be heading for Chelsea |
ANTONIO RUDIGER could move to Chelsea after a potential year-long loan move to Roma collapsed, according to reports in Italy.
Arsenal have also been linked with the Germany international but Talk Sport claim Chelsea are leading the race.
Roma are understood to have enquired about a temporary deal but their approach was immediately rebuffed.
And Blues boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly willing to offer £20million to get a deal done.
Roma could yet offer a permanent tranfser as they are flush with cash after selling Alessio Romagnoli to AC Milan.
22-year-old Rudiger has two years left to run on his contract ay the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
He has been at the club as a senior player since 2011 after a spell at Borussia Dortnund as a youngster.
In 66 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart he has scored two goals and has six caps for Germany.
