Bristol City set to splash out £9m on Brentford's Andre Gray after failed Dwight Gayle bid
In Demand: £9m-rated Brentford frontman Andre Gray
BRENTFORD striker Andre Gray could be set for a £9million move to newly-promoted Championship side Bristol City, according to reports.

City are believed to have met the Bees' valuation for the 24-year-old ace who has also been a target for Championship rivals Hull.
However, City manager Steve Cotterill is in pole position to sign Gray after his pursuit of £6m-rated Crystal Palace forward Dwight Gayle fell through.

Gray has been vital for Brentford since joining from Luton Town, scoring 18 goals last season and netting his second goal this term in their 4-2 win over City on Saturday.
"It would be nice if it were to come off, but I'm afraid there isn't much I can say at this moment in time," Cotterill told the BBC.
Gray's presence also helped spearhead the Bees' surprise run in to the Championship play-offs where they were eventually beaten in the semi-finals by Middlesbrough.

Boss Marinus Dljkhuizen, who replaced Mark Warburton at Griffin Park, wants to keep his talisman but the Bees will sell for the right price.
They have already lost-highly rated right-back Moses Odubajo, who joined Hull for £3.5m earlier this month.
