TOMAS ROSICKY has been ruled out for up to two months following knee surgery.
The Arsenal midfielder missed the opening game of the season and it has now emerged he underwent surgery last week.
His agent, Pavel Paska, confirmed the news on Czeck radio.
"Tomas last Tuesday passed arthroscopic knee surgery. The recovery period is estimated at four to eight weeks," Paska told iDNES.cz.
Miroslav Pelt, chairman of the Football Association of the Czech Republic, said:"He's had some treatment, though not anything big, but time is against us."
Arsenal are already without Jack Wilshere who suffered a hairline fracture on his foot ahead of the Community Shield.
