ANGEL DI MARIA says he wants to win the Champions League after all-but confirming his transfer from Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentina winger completed his medical in Doha today and the switch should go through within the next 24 hours.
Di Maria, 27, will cost PSG a staggering £44million transfer fee and a further £56.2m in pre-tax wages over the duration of his deal.

"I am very happy to join PSG. What I know about PSG is that it is a team that won all the possible trophies in France last season," he told BeIn Sport.
"This is very important for the club.
"I also know that I want to overcome the obstacle that is the quarter finals of the Champions League.

"I am going to try to bring the best of my abilities to put myself at the service of this team.
"We are going to try and go as far as possible in the Champions League.”

Di Maria cost United a club record £59.7m last summer when he joined the Old Trafford club from Real Madrid.
The Argentina international played in his country's run to the Copa America final this summer, where they lost to hosts Chile.
He was fined £360,000 by United last month when he failed to join the squad on their preseason tour of the USA.
