JOHN TERRY believes Chelsea were unlucky not to come away with three points in Ukraine last night.
The Blues endured a 0-0 draw with Dynamo Kiev in a frustrating night for the visitors.
Chelsea hit the woodwork twice and saw a Cesc Fabregas penalty appeal turned down as Jose Mourinho blasted the referee "weak and naive."
And the skipper thinks his side were unfortunate not to take their chances.
"It is a tough place to come but it is a point won and we move on to the next game which we must win," Terry told the club's website.
"Dynamo Kiev are a very tough side and they lost at the weekend so they were always going to put on a show in front of their own supporters. We kept a clean sheet which is a positive and it is not a bad result.
"I think we deserved to win. The first half was a lot better than the second. We created a few chances, Willian’s free-kick hit the bar, and there was the penalty that for me maybe was one, that wasn’t given.
"We were unlucky not to score and they had a couple of half-chances as well and we are disappointed not to win, we came here to win the game and there were some good performances.
"We move on and it is important now we go back to the Bridge and we have to win our home games. Big Champions League nights in front of our home support, under the floodlights, is where we want to be so it is in our hands and we feel comfortable with that."
Chelsea recorded their third win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at the weekend and Terry insists they will continue to build on that performance when they take on West Ham on Saturday.
"We build on the weekend when it was a great feeling to get a win," he added. "Last Saturday was a taste of where we want to be, that feeling again. We are a great side and we will get there with the hunger and the ambition that is in the squad.
"You don’t win trophies year after year without that hunger in the belly. We are collectively together, the players, the manager and the fans and we will be alright."
