JOHAN CRUYFF has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
He is expected to release a statement this evening after undergoing more tests to determine the extent of his disease
He was diagnosed last Tuesday according to Spanish radio station RAC1 and Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The 69-year-old won three consecutive European Cups with Ajax, before playing for and managing Barcelona.
Before beginning her presentation, VP Susana Monje sent a message of support to Johan Cruyff, who just announced that he has lung cancer.

Cruyff was capped 48 times by Holland between 1966 and 1977, helping them to the World Cup final in 1974, and won European Footballer of the Year three times in 1971, 1973 and 1974.
After his playing career he managed Holland, Ajax, Barcelona and Catalonia.

And Barcelona VP Susana Monje sent a message of support ahead of her economic presentation to the board, according to the club's Twitter account.
