Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he is "happy" at Paris Saint-Germain |
CHELSEA and Manchester United have been told that summer transfer targets Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gregory van der Wiel are not for sale.
The Sweden star's agent Mino Raiola insists both of the Paris Saint-Germain players are going nowhere despite interest from the west London club.
"A transfer is ruled out," he said to NOS. "Zlatan is way too important for the club owners from Qatar."
Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move away from France with Galatasaray and AC Milan both interested in recent weeks as well as Manchester United, despite the 33-year-old saying he is "happy" at PSG.
Jose Mourinho has also shown interest in Dutch defender Van der Wiel, according to reports in France.
Louis van Gaal has also reportedly been keeping tabs on the 27-year-old but Riola blasted those rumours.
"Nonsense. The club want to renew his contract," he said. "Van der Wiel doesn't have to worry."
The news comes as Augsburg defender Baba Rahman has completed a medical at Chelsea ahead of a proposed £21million move, according to reports.
Mourinho has previously stated he is on the lookout for a new left-back to provide competition for Cesar Azpilicueta while he continues to negotiate a deal for Everton's John Stones.
