MAURICIO POCHETTINO believes that anybody down as far as Watford can win the league this season – but not Chelsea.
The Tottenham boss was no less frustrated in the cold light of day at his side allowing Leicester to snatch all three points from White Hart Lane last night to open up the gap between the top three and Spurs in fourth.
But with 17 games still to go, the Argentinian is still convinced a complete outsider could come up on the rails.
“All in the top 10, have the chance to win the league,” he said. “It’s very open. You can’t guess.
“There are a lot of games ahead still to play so all can happen. We’re excited to compete but you need to accept sometimes the bad result like last night, can happen.
“We missed a great opportunity to establish us on the top, you feel disappointed but you need to carry on, keep working hard because all is open.”
Pochettino also reacted to news of Real Madrid’s transfer ban, insisting it made not the slightest bit of difference to his striker Harry Kane.
“Harry Kane is not for sale at any price, no chance,” he said.
