Newcastle ready to cut their loses on £12m summer signing to make room for Spurs outcast
Florian Thauvin could quit Newcastle this month

Thauvin joined Newcastle from Marseille in August - and the Ligue 1 club reportedly want him back.
The midfielder, 22, has made three Premier League starts and has been used 10 times as a substitute.
But reports in France - from L'Equipe and La Provence - claim Marseille are in talks for Thauvin and want an answer from Newcastle on a loan move by this week.

Steve McClaren has already been active this month with moves for Jonjo Shelvey and Henri Saivet complete.
And the Newcastle Chronicle report the former England boss wants to sign Andros Townsend from Tottenham.
Thauvin heading back to France could free up space in McClaren's squad for the England winger.

Townsend is available to buy but could cost £14m as Daniel Levy looks to drive a hard bargain.
Newcastle dropped to second bottom in the Premier League last night after Sunderland beat Swansea 4-2 at the Liberty Stadium.
