MAMADOU SAKHO has told Jurgen Klopp he wants to ease Liverpool’s injury crisis by facing Premier League leaders Arsenal on Wednesday.

Mamadou Sakho tells Jurgen Klopp he's ready to return for Liverpool's clash with Arsenal
Mamadou Sakho could be available for the visit of Arsenal at Anfield on Wednesday night

The Liverpool manager also said he hopes Kolo Toure will be fit to face his former club and Anfield.
Liverpool are searching for a loan signing to help further offset the defensive problems which saw Sakho, Toure, Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren all miss last Friday’s FA Cup Third Round stalemate with Exeter City.
France defender Sakho also missed the Capital One Cup semi-final, first leg, win over Stoke with a legacy of the injury he suffered at Sunderland over Christmas, but Klopp is hoping he will step up his training today.
“The situation now is better than two or three days before,” said Klopp. “I think Kolo will be available so we will have a senior centre-back.
“Mama wants to be available and hopefully we can use him. Martin is not ready, still a few weeks away, but Dejan feels good.

“It is only six days since Dejan’s injury against Stoke, to Arsenal it is eight, to United it is 11 or 12. It is close.
“There will be a moment we have to decide if it is a risk or a risk we could try.
“We have to look for Kolo and Mama and then the next one is Lucas.”
Jordon Ibe and Jordan Henderson could also return depending on whether they come through training.
Goalkeeper Danny Ward could displace Adam Bogdan on the substitutes’ bench after being recalled from Aberdeen with Klopp saying it was an “easy decision” to bring him back.

Bogdan conceded a goal straight from a corner at Exeter and was also at fault when conceding the first goal in the 3-0 defeat to Watford recently.
“It was an easy decision,” said Klopp. “We watched the improvement of Danny Ward, and it's a moment when we have to make a decision about all the players.
“We thought it was a good idea to get him back. He's here today for the first time.”
Meanwhile, Klopp ruled out a £11m deal for Corinthians striker Pato, adding: “You don’t have to follow the Pato path any longer. That is just private advice.”
