Klopp sat on the bench looking at the crowd reaction as his players won the the shoot-out 6-5 to book a Wembley appearance for their German manager just four months after he took over.
He didn't see 'hero keeper Simon Mignolet make two fines save in the spot kick contest or Joe Allen strike the winning penalty.
He said: “Until now I did not see one penalty to be honest - I was behind the wall of my players, so did Simon save a few or not?! I will watch it on television later but it was good watching the crowd!"

Klopp condemned the decision of the officials to allow Mark Arnautoivc's controversial goal that levelled the tie just before half-time claiming it was "double offside.". , 
But he is now dreaming of an all-Merseyside final - if Everton can beat Manchester City in the other semi-final tonight.
“This wonderful city deserves a final like that," he added. "Certainly the city has shown it deserves it in the time I have been here.
 
“The people have told tome how much it means – I heard it would be the biggest thing, but only if we beat them! We will watch the game [at the Etihad] tomorrow, if it’s normal, then Everton have the chance to make it because they lead.
“The people of this city are amazing, they way that Red and Blue mix together. It is a great thing that they have rivalry in football but can be together so well, and I think they deserve it.”
