The Reds kicked off 2016 with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to West Ham - their second loss of the season to Slaven Bilic’s men.
And Klopp claims the players did not give 100 per cent and were caught napping on two occasions that cost them the match.
“Who wants to see a football game at 90 per cent? You cannot win at 90 per cent, or even 95 per cent,” he said.
“Nobody wants to see this. You have to do everything.
"We are responsible for the result and everything that happened today.
"In a game like this where you see you can be better, you have to be better, and you have to win, and not to lose 2-0 because of two moments."
