Harry Redknapp says Emmanuel Adebayor could do a job at Chelsea

The 31-year-old striker is currently a free agent after seeing his contract terminated at Tottenham in September.
Redknapp, who managed Adebayor for the 2011/12 season during a loan spell at White Hart Lane, believes any club should look to take him on until the end of the campaign.
Premier League pair Chelsea and Watford have both been linked with January moves for the Togo international.

And Redknapp has urged the reigning champions to take a punt on the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker as Blues boss Guus Hiddink looks to provide cover for Diego Costa and Loic Remy up front.
"If any manager rang me about signing Emmanuel Adebayor I’d have a simple message: take him until the end of the season. You can’t lose," he told the Evening Standard.

"When you look around at what is available in the market this month, Adebayor on a free transfer until the end of the season is a no-brainer.
"He could even perform at a higher level - Chelsea have been linked with him.
"If he went to a club like that, he’d know he wouldn’t necessarily play every week, but on a short-term basis he should relish the challenge of proving he is big enough to play in the big games."
