HALO 5: Guardians has received a new update today on Xbox One, Microsoft has confirmed.
The new update affects Forge Mode exclusively, increasing the amount of Halo 5 Map and Game Variants that can be saved from 40 each to 100 each.
The creator kit has seen a major revamp on Xbox One, with developers 343 Industries focusing on building a new system for the first dedicated Halo title for next-gen.
Halo 5 has proved to be one of Microsoft's biggest titles in 2015, joining the other games in the exclusive 2015 holiday games line-up to sell over 1 million units, with the number of Xbox One gamers who played Microsoft Studios-published titles more than doubling compared to 2014.
Forge allows for both playing and editing multiplayer maps which has been expanded upon greatly in Halo 5.
Microsoft revealed during its launch in November that the new Forge was built with years of community feedback in mind and had an impressive rundown of features to build new maps.
Some of the new tools include groupings that can be created dynamically with a single button press, Multi-Select/Edit allowing for the selection and manipulation of up to 64 individual objects at one time and 1700+ Objects to choose from that can be mixed with weapons, turrets, and power-ups.

Microsoft have so far released two major REQs updates for Halo 5 and have promised to continue to support the game with more content, which will include new items and maps going forward.
The first update, Shadow and Light, introduced Big Team Battle maps which had been recreated by members of the Forge community and then finished by 343 developers.
Adrian Bedoya, MP Level Designer, discussed more on the partnership using the new Forge, commenting: "Collaborating on the BTB maps with the Forgers has been a great experience.
"It’s incredible to see the passion that they have for Forge, Halo, and map design. Like seasoned professionals, they brought in ideas on paper, or simple roughs in Sketchup. Once at the studio, they hit the ground running, and Kyle (The Fated Fire) was started work on a spiritual successor to the Halo 4 fan favorite Longbow
"We hope that the massive depth, scope and speed of what users are able to achieve within the new Forge tools inspires new and old Forgers to bring their creations to life."
