DINAMO ZAGREB midfielder Ante Coric has admitted he has rejected interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea in order to stay with the Croatian club.
Coric is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football and became the youngest goalscorer in the Europa League after scoring against Astra Giurgiu aged just 17 years and 157 days.
Chelsea scouted the 18-year-old, who is valued at £8million, after he admitted he wanted to leave Dinamo as he felt he wasn't being played enough.
But he has now changed his mind and admits he is happy to remain in Croatia for the forseeable future.
"I am very happy that Chelsea and Real Madrid want me but I know I wouldn't play there," he told 24sata. "They would send me out on loan, perhaps to a lesser club or a lesser league.
"So I know staying is the best decision."
He admits he has made his decision because he has been reassured by Dinamo that he will receive more playing time between now and the end of the season.
"I only want better treatment and they have promised me that," he added. "I know that I will play more now, be a key player and this is most important for me. If the fans back me, I could stay at Dinamo my whole career. This is my club."
