ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI will not be sold in the January transfer window, despite interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Agent discusses transfer of 'best number nine in the world' as Man Utd and Liverpool wait
Both Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Lewandowski

Lewandowski's agent told French newspaper L'Equipe that the Bayern Munich ace is not interested in quitting the club midway through the season.
United and Liverpool are both said to be trailing the Poland international, while Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain remain keen admirers.

And while his agent, Cezary Kucharski, confirmed Bayern won't sell this month, he refused to guarantee the 27-year-old's long-term future at the club.
“We’re very happy at Bayern Munich. We’ll see what happens in the future, but I cannot tell you any more,” Kucharski told L’Equipe.

“For me, he’s the best number nine in the world. Everyone knows the price of the best players in their position, but I can’t give you a figure.
“I don’t think Bayern want to sell him and I don’t want to talk about his price, especially since the championship starts again in Germany on Friday.
“In football, you can never know what will happen. The most important thing is that he fights for the Champions League.”
Lewandowski boasts 15 Bundesliga goals already this season and is contract to Bayern until 2019.

United emerged as suitors late last year as manager Louis van Gaal expressed concern for their lack of fire power up front.
The Red Devils are not expected to make a move in this transfer window and Lewandowski would not likely join as he seeks the Champions League title with Bayern.
Liverpool, likewise, are thought to be waiting until the summer to enquire as to his availability, with from their time together at Borussia Dortmund.
