Go on, try not to get goosebumps when those horns kick in...
"I mean, as a fan, I can't even believe I get to be here."
Well as the director he has every right, obviously, and he is soon stuck into the mechanics of making the music and film footage work together in a particualr scene.
"We may need to make the 'bum ba da ba da', repeat those bars just because it might, it might be a little bit longer before we get into the interior of the transport," Abrams tells Williams.

The 83-year-old has composed the soundtracks for a jaw-dropping number of teh most famous films of teh last 50 years.
Williams created the music for all the previous films in the Star Wars series, which might be enough for most people.
Not him. The film legend also composed the iconic soundtrack to the first two Jaws films, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones series, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Superman, the first two Home Alone films, Hook, the first three Harry Potter films, Catch Me If You Can and the first two Jurassic Park films.
Blimey.
He can also do serious dramas, with Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Memoirs of a Geisha, War Horse, and Lincoln under his belt.
Somehow we doubt he is feeling too much 'abject terror' right now.
Nor do we have any worries that Abrams will triumph when teh film hits cinemas next week.
