SAM ALLARDYCE labeled Jurgen Klopp a 'soft German' in the aftermath of last night's clash between Sunderland and Liverpool.
The Reds won 1-0 through Christian Benteke's second goal in two games leaving Sunderland just four points off the bottom.
But Klopp was furious with a tackle from Jeremain Lens on Mamadou Sakho late on.
Lens overran the ball and clattered into Sakho and was booked by the referee but Klopp was livid.
“He’s a soft German if that’s a red card,” Allardyce said.
“There was some foul and abusive language towards my staff, which I didn’t like.
"But at the end we all shook hands and that’s how it should be.”
Klopp raged about the incident afterwards.
“Of course. This is a foul. That is not allowed. For me that is a red card, finished," he said.
“So my staff were emotional, the staff of Sunderland were emotional. If you look on your ticket, it is included. If nothing happens on the pitch, you can watch the bench.”
