JAMIE CARRAGHER has lashed out at former Liverpool striker El Hadji Diouf.
The controversial striker branded Carragher a 'turkey' in an explosive interview, prompting the defender to respond in equal measure.
The 37-year-old took to Twitter to blast Diouf, but it is not first time the Liverpool man has made allegations about the Senegalese striker's character.
In his autobiography Carra, he claimed he had never met anyone who seemed to care less about winning or losing.
"Do you remember being at school and picking sides for a game of football? We do this at Liverpool for the five-a-sides," Carragher wrote.
"Diouf was ‘last pick’ within a few weeks."
In 2010, Diouf responded by telling the Sun that 'if Liverpool had ten players like Carragher then they would never win anything', claiming the former England international never spoke to him during the two years they played together at Anfield.
It's better than a Donkey & plenty have called me that before!!!!!! https://t.co/SvDtAV7slr

And now the striker has restarted the war of words in an interview with So Foot, calling Carragher 'the biggest turkey I've seen on a football pitch'.
Diouf also called club legend Steven Gerrard an egotist, and current Bolton manager Neil Lennon a 'd***head' after the pair clashed during an Old Firm match.
