Guus Hiddink reveals Chelsea plans for Sunderland visit
Hiddink will not be in the dugout at Stamford Bridge this Saturday

GUUS HIDDINK will not be on the touchline when Chelsea face Sunderland on Saturday.

The Dutch manager is still in talks over an interim role at the club after Jose Mourinho was yesterday dismissed, but is expected to take over.
Current Chelsea coaches Steve Holland and Eddie Newton will be on the touchline opposite Sam Allardyce as Chelsea attempt to avoid a third straight Premier League defeat.
“I won’t be on the bench against Sunderland. I will leave that to the interim coaches," said Hiddink.

“I want to have a very good insight into how all it got into this way.”
If a deal is reached, Hiddink will be reprising the job he did at Stamford Bridge six years ago after the departure of Luiz Felipe Scolari.
That time around, the now-69-year-old took over in February, while retaining his role as Russia national team manager.

However, he was able to guide Chelsea to a Champions League semi-final, and in his final game as coach, an FA Cup final victory over Everton.
Despite a number of players asking him to stay, Hiddink stuck to his original plan and returned to coach Russia.
It now looks as though his second spell at Stamford Bridge will begin in earnest with the visit of Watford on Boxing Day, as he takes a patient approach to repairing Mourinho's squad.
