Garry Monk holds crunch talks with struggling Swansea squad to help turn season around
Garry Monk's Swansea have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games
GARRY MONK held crunch talks with his struggling Swansea squad in an effort to turn around their poor form.

The Swans have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games and face high-flying Leicester at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow.
The run has piled the pressure on Monk, while there were suggestions of tension between him and his players and the 36-year-old felt both sides needed to vent their feelings in order to draw a line under their wretched run.
"I was open and honest with them and asked them for their views and they were very honest with me," said Monk. "They were very good meetings and you could see that it changed the mindset. It drew a line under things. I told them how it stands and they appreciated that.

"We worked very well following that, training was excellent. It was a big step in right direction. We talked about things as a group, in units and as individuals. It was not an easy process but it was definitely the right step to make.
"With hindsight maybe it needed to happen sooner. But I felt I needed to say what I need to say and everyone appreciated it."
Monk also revealed that full-back Franck Tabanou has been ruled out for a few weeks with a tear to his quad.
The summer signing from St Etienne has yet to play a minute of Premier League football.
