WALT Disney’s classic animated feature film Fantasia was released 75 years ago Friday on November 13, 1940.

8. Tom [Good] and Jerry [Leadbetter] were also the names of the leading male characters in the very successful sitcom The Good Life.
9. Beauty And The Beast, Up and Toy Story 3 are the only animated films to have been nominated for the Best Picture Oscar.
10. Fantasia was the first commercial film to be released with stereophonic sound.
