Revealed: How Liverpool spent more than Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal on agents
Liverpool paid more in agents' fees than any other club in the Premier League
LIVERPOOL paid more in agents’ fees than any other Premier League side during the last two transfer windows with top flight clubs lavishing almost £130m to football’s middle men.
 
The Anfield club paid out £14,301,464m between October 2014 and September 2015 to top one league table – although that figure is actually marginally down on the previous two windows when they paid £14,308,444.
Liverpool – second behind Chelsea last year - were one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market during the period and bought the likes of £29m Roberto Firmino and £32.5m Christian Benteke.
 
Manchester United were the second highest spenders with £13,881,814m, Manchester City were next £12,429,380m, Chelsea £11,961,206m and Arsenal £11,928,584m.
Tottenham paid £5,987,052 and Everton £4,479,432m.
 
The lowest spenders in the last two windows were Premier League new boys Watford who spent just £1,620,229 on agents’ fee.
Official figures released by the Premier League revealed the overall payment figure was £129,857,560 which is up on £115,202,886m between October 2013 and September 2014. Between 2012-13, it was £96,673,08m.
The amounts include payments made by clubs on behalf of players.
