PABLO ZABALETA is confident he will be fit for Manchester City’s crunch clash against Liverpool.
The Citizens were given a boost earlier this week after Sergio Aguero, who has been out for the past month with a torn hamstring, has earmarked the Reds as his comeback match.
Argentine right-back Zabaleta has been sidelined with a knee injury, with Bacary Sagna filling in for him.
And Zabaleta thinks he could be considered for selection when City host Liverpool on November 21.
“I am doing OK, progressing well and trying to be fit for the visit of Liverpool after the international break,” Zabaleta said.
“We'll see how it goes in the next week or so.
"At the moment the plan is to re-join the rest of the team next Monday so hopefully everything will go well and I'll be available for our next game."
