ROY KEANE has torn into Chelsea, claiming they need to 'toughen up'.
 

The Blues have made a disastrous start to the Premier League campaign and currently occupy 15th spot in the table.

Mourinho's men ended a four-game winless streak by beating Dynamo Kiev 2-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

However, Keane, who played in some great United sides over the years, has questioned Chelsea's mental strength.

"It comes down to hunger and desire, and I think they’ve lost that,” Keane said.

“I saw them last week against Stoke, and every time they were touched, they were rolling around the pitch.

“Costa went off injured in an important cup tie but was fit three or four days later. Some of these Chelsea players need to toughen up.”

Chelsea face a potentially tricky trip to Stoke tomorrow (5:30pm).
