Apple iPad Pro release – everything you need to know about Apple’s new tablet
Apple's iPad Pro is now on sale in the UK
APPLE iPad Pro goes on sale across the globe today and here's its top new features.

After months of waiting Apple fans can finally buy the iPad Pro.
Apple’s new super-sized tablet is available to order via the US tech firm’s website, with the device expected to land in retail stores by the end of the week.
With a giant screen, powerful processor and new accessories, the iPad Pro is going head-to-head with Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablet.
Dubbed the ‘laptop killer’ the Surface Pro has become a hugely popular device and Apple clearly sees this market continuing to grow in the future.
So, if you’re planning to treat yourself to the iPad Pro here’s everything you need to know.

Apple's new tablet features a 12.9-inch display

iPAD PRO SCREEN
Apple has included a gigantic 12.9-inch Retina display on its new tablet.
It’s basically the size of two current iPad Pros sat side-by-side and it's very impressive.
This new screen features 5.6 million pixels, which is the most Apple has ever crammed into an iOS device.
Although this new tablet is big, the US tech firm has managed to keep the weight of the iPad Pro down to 713g meaning it’s not uncomfortable to hold.
Apple reckons its screen ‘delivers performance rivalling most portable PCs’ and, having tested it, NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com can confirm it offers a very slick experience.

iPAD PRO POWER
Tucked under the hood of the iPad Pro is Apple’s latest 64 bit A9X processor.
This powerhouse can produce PC performance and should cope with professional programmes such as Photoshop.
In fact, there's a new app called Photoshop Fix which has been designed specifically with the iPad Pro in mind.
The efficient processor also means that the iPad Pro can survive around 10-hours on one charge, which should be enough to get most people through a day’s usage.

The Pencil allows users to interact with the iPad

iPAD PRO EXTRAS
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs said it would never happen, but it seems Apple now agrees a stylus is a good idea.
The Apple Pencil is pressure sensitive and allows you to draw and sketch on the tablet just like a real pencil.
The stylus can detect tilt and it's also aware if your palm is resting on the tablet’s display.
Apple says its Pencil will “finally empower professional designers to embrace innovation, along with their creativity.”
The iPad Pro also features a new keyboard case.
The Smart Keyboard offers a full-sized keyboard in a thin, durable design and it attaches to iPad Pro’s new Smart Connector port, eliminating the need for a separate battery, on/off switch or Bluetooth pairing.
Sadly, these accessories aren’t in the box so expect to £79 for the Apple Pencil and £139 for the keyboard.

iPAD PRO OUR VIEW
NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com had an exclusive hands-on with iPad Pro at its launch in September.
There's no doubting that this is a stunning tablet and when you see it in the flesh you'll probably want one.
The screen is stunning, it's fast and incredibly powerful.
And for such a big tablet it's also reasonably light and you shouldn't have any problems using it for long periods on your lap.
However, if you want the top-of-the-range model with keyboard and Pencil, you're going to be left with a bill over £1,000 – that's MacBook Pro territory.
The iPad Pro will no doubt be a popular device and we can see it being useful for plenty of people but the price is very high.
We hope to have a full review soon and we'll let you know if we think this new tablet can finally kill off the laptop.
