Tottenham's in-form Erik Lamela fires warning shot ahead of Swansea clash
Erik Lamela was disappointed with the 1-1 draw with Monaco
ERIK LAMELA admits he has absolutely no idea why his form has suddenly improved dramatically but is determined to work hard in the hope it stays that way.

For two seasons the Argentina international struggled since his £30m signing and the club made no secret of the fact he was available for the right price - but attracted no serious offers.
It led Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to make it clear that Lamela was under serious pressure to start producing - and his goal in the 1-1 draw in Monaco last night took his tally to three goals and two assists in the last five games.
"I don't know what has changed," he said. "I am working hard every day to find my best. The team helps me and I want to help the team."
Having struggled initially with the language barrier, perhaps he has finally begun to settle in England?

"I don't know," he re-iterated. "I need to keep working, keep working hard every day. I am always wanting to help my team."
Surely having a compatriot as boss must help though?
"I don't know how he has helped me," Lamela said. "Now, in this season, I try to do my best, to help my team go forward."
Either way, it was not quite enough against Monaco, whose late equaliser robbed Spurs of two useful qualifying points.

Lamela said: "We deserved the goal because the break was good and it was a good counter-attack.
"But we deserved a little bit more from the game. It is not a bad result because we play away.
"However, now we need to win the next game at home against Anderlecht in the Europa League and try to get three points there."

And there will be a similar aim at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow.
"We need to win because it is a Premier League game and it is important for us to do well,"
"We need the three points to go up the positions in the table."
