TOTTENHAM'S Dele Alli and Liverpool's Danny Ings have both been included in Roy Hodgson's England squad today.
Ings has been monitored by Hodgson for some time and will be called up for the Euro 2016 qualifiers with Estonia and Lithuania.
Hodgson names his squad today and Ings' call up reward for his eye-catching form for Liverpool following a summer switch from Burnley.
Ings, who represented England at this summer's European U21 Championships, is set to start against FC Sion in the Europa League tonight.
Daniel Sturridge has not been included in the squad and instead has been told to aim for the November friendlies against Spain and France.
Sturridge is just two games into his latest comeback and, despite scoring twice against Aston Villa last weekend, Hodgson has taken a cautious approach.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers had warned England that Sturridge would not currently be able to play two games a week due to his recovery programme which raised doubts over his involvement for both games against Estonia and Lithuania.
"Dele Alli is the more offbeat one in the sense he is so young and just broken into the Tottenham team. It is a good opportunity for him to come when so many midfielders are missing through injury because who knows going forward where he will end up.
"We think it is better for Daniel Sturridge to work on his fitness. I had already decided on that before speaking to Brendan. We can survive without Daniel in these two games because we have already qualified and I am hoping we see Daniel coming to us in November super-fit."
