Garry Monk insists he does not need any help to turn Swansea's season around
DEFIANT Garry Monk last night insisted he does not need any help to turn around Swansea's season.

The Welsh club have slipped from fourth to 14th in the Premier League after a run of five games without a win ahead of tomorrow's trip to Aston Villa.
The poor sequence of results has led to speculation over Monk's future, and suggestions chairman Huw Jenkins wants to bring in an experienced top-flight coach to work alongside the former defender.

But the 36-year-old is adamant he and his current staff can handle the pressure.
"I do not need any help. What we did last year gives you the right to have your own staff who you want," he said.
"I've developed the staff, added to it in my time here quite considerably and my staff are great and have all got great experience.

"You don't have to be in the game for 20-30 years to have experience. Me and my staff have been involved in football for a long, long time and have expertise in all areas.
"No-one has done what this group has done at this club, in terms of what we achieved by finishing eighth last year, which was the best the club has ever done in the Premier League."
Monk has endured a difficult week after his side’s defeat to Stoke on Monday condemned them to a sixth game without a win in all competitions.
Since then he has been linked to taking over from Tim Sherwood at Villa and has been accused of missing a training session he in fact attended.
