DICK ADVOCAAT’S future at Sunderland remains unclear after the team earned a point with West Ham to lift off the bottom of the table.
The Black Cats boss is under pressure following a winless start to the season and did his job chances little good when his side there away a two-goal lead this afternoon.
Goals from Steven Fletcher and Jeremain Lens put Sunderland ahead but Carl Jenkinson and Dimitri Payet forced a 2-2 draw, as Lens was sent off in the second half.

Advocaat refused to say whether he was leaving Sunderland or not after the game |
After speaking after the game Advocaat refused to be drawn on his future.
"I don't want to give an answer,” he said.
“Today I am the manager, what will happen in the next weeks, months, I cannot say."
Fletcher, who opened the scoring with a neatly worked free-kick routine 11 minutes in, said team confidence has not been hit by Advocaat’s job speculation.
“The gaffer has been the same as usual, we have been working hard in training to get a performance like that,” he said.
“The first half we could have had a few more goals and we were unlucky to concede close to half-time so on that behalf we showed we had a fighting spirit.”
