ORIGINAL: Destiny is set for a content overhaul by Bungie in Year Two, which will all be connected to the recent inclusion of the new microtransaction system.
The Eververse Trading Company is set to be rolled out next week and with it, the chance to buy emotes from The Tower.
October 13 will be the launch pad for big changes in Destiny, with the character of Tess Everis returning to make way for a new storefront.
Players will never be forced to buy items with the new in-game “Silver” currency and will continue to receive updates to the game.
However, one of the big changes coming that has yet to be announced is that the model of big expansion packs being sold to fans is set to be shelved until the fall of 2016.
A new report claims that the game will continue to be updated with new quests and missions for free every few months, as well as smaller drops of content spread out across the year.
This leaves the next paid-for expansion pack set for the latter half of 2016, which many are calling Destiny 2, according to Kotaku.
