Destiny's latest Taken King secrets have been revealed
DESTINY: The Taken King's secrets are now in the hands of fans who have worked the latest way to solve one of Bungie's latest mysteries.
 
The way to get Destiny’s Sleeper Simulant Fusion Rifle has been cracked, having finally been unlocked by the studio.
The new exotic weapon is included in a new quest provided by Bungie this week that included completing public events and a list of missions.
It follows the example of the Black Spindle, which had been hidden in a daily story mission but needed a lot of work to be unlocked.
To get started, players need to hand over four DVALIN Fusion Rifle Relics to the Gunsmith at the Tower, which are scattered across the Solar System and also be at level 41.
A notification should send you to Earth and The First Firewall that leads to Rasputin’s bunker. Be prepared to face the Hive and Taken Knights in waves before dispatching a Taken boss.
He will drop a Transceiver which must be opened in your inventory and four codes entered.
The system works like this: Every Hive Knight destroyed goes in the top box with the number 0, while the Taken Knights belong in bottom box with the number.
It leaves the four codes as follows: 
  • 0-1-0-0-1-1-1-0-1
  • 0-1-0-0-1-1-0-0
  • 0-1-1-1-0-1-1-1-0-0
  • 0-1-0-1-0-1-0-0 
You will then need to complete the Shadow Call mission in under four minutes, it's best to run past most enemies and down the Tortured Wizards you can collect the IKELOS Fusion Core.
After that... there's more that has to be completed which is hinted at by the new exotic drop you just picked up.
Finish off th Archive Mission on Venus for Ionized Shell Harmonics, dismantle a spare Legendary weapons for the Heavy Power Coupling then complete these objectives for the Plasma Confinement Control Modules
  • Warsat event on Earth.
  • Warsat event on the Moon.
  • Warsat event on Mars.
Hand the fusion core to the Gunsmith who will then give you the rest the of the mission the following day. He will then ask for you to complete the S.A.B.E.R. Strike at Light Level 280.
Activate Three of Coins before the Strike boss and FINALLY pick up the Sleeper Simulant Weapon Frame after it's defeated. You can then head back to the Gunsmith get your prize, a 290 exotic Fusion Rifle heavy weapon.
 
ORIGINAL: Destiny is set for a content overhaul by Bungie in Year Two, which will all be connected to the recent inclusion of the new microtransaction system.
The Eververse Trading Company is set to be rolled out next week and with it, the chance to buy emotes from The Tower.
October 13 will be the launch pad for big changes in Destiny, with the character of Tess Everis returning to make way for a new storefront.
Players will never be forced to buy items with the new in-game “Silver” currency and will continue to receive updates to the game.

The Eververse Trading Company will be followed by Bungie's free content, according to a new report
However, one of the big changes coming that has yet to be announced is that the model of big expansion packs being sold to fans is set to be shelved until the fall of 2016.
A new report claims that the game will continue to be updated with new quests and missions for free every few months, as well as smaller drops of content spread out across the year.
This leaves the next paid-for expansion pack set for the latter half of 2016, which many are calling Destiny 2, according to Kotaku.
 
Bungie confirmed the release of the microtransaction system earlier this month and have already hinted at the fact that they plan to sell cosmetic DLC and focus on free content.
“Our plan is to use these new items to bolster the service provided by our live team for another full year, as they grow and create more robust and engaging events that we’ll announce later this year. 
“It has been, and continues to be, our goal to deliver updates to the game. 
“Going forward, our live team is also looking to grow beyond vital updates and improvements to focus on world events, experiences, and feature requests.”
The most recent DLC expansion has been a hit with fans and includes a lot of hunting for Taken King secrets hidden throughout the game update.
