SONY: The big changes coming with PS4 update this summer REVEALED
PS4 users will soon have some new features to play with after the eventual launch of update 3.00
SONY have revealed the big changes that will be included in the next PS4 update.
 
The next major system software update for PlayStation, version 3.00 (codename: Kenshin), is to add new features and content to the new-gen console.

Sony will run a beta for the new update via PS4's beta testing system this summer, meaning those who have opted in will get access today.
The tech giant have also warned, however, that some of the features that have been listed may not make it into the final release.
Those new beta features include a YouTube streaming option, an increase to 10 GB of cloud storage, a new Events hub, Sharing video clips to Twitter and Requesting to watch a friend's game.

Share Play provided a big update for the PS4
Online storage capacity increase — PS4 online storage capacity has increased from 1GB to 10GB for all PS Plus members. In 3.00 system software, a usage meter has been added to monitor available storage capacity, and a new Auto-Upload menu has been added to Application Saved Data Management.
YouTube live — PS4 owners will be able to livestream gameplay to YouTube. Livestreams will be viewable across YouTube, including on the new YouTube Gaming mobile app and website.
Events — A new hub for events has been added, giving an overview of activities taking place in the games you play most, as well as official broadcasts.
Sharing video clips to Twitter — Users will have the ability to share video clips directly to Twitter. Maximum video length is 10 seconds, though you’ll have the ability to trim longer clips.
Stickers — Send stickers to friends through your messages.
Request to watch gameplay — You can send a ‘Request to Watch’ notification to a player, which will start a live broadcast or Share Play invitation to the person playing.
