Black Ops 3's Nuk3town is sure to peek fan interest |
TREYARCH are plotting a big update for those Call of Duty fans buying Black Ops 3 in November.
Having completed the public beta on PS4, Activision have announced what bonuses fans can look forward to later in the year.
Reportedly the biggest beta on PlayStation 4 to-date, delivering the most downloads, gameplay sessions, and hours of gameplay to-date, according to Activision and PlayStation, plans for the return of the Nuketown Map have been officially unveiled.
A reimagined version of the popular multiplayer map is set to be included in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
However, there are no plans for the same map to appear on either the PlayStation or Xbox 360 versions.
Nuk3town for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be available exclusively for GAME customers only who pre-order for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
"Set in the year 2065 and optimized for Black Ops 3’s new momentum-based, chained movement system, Nuk3town is all about the close-quarters, fast-paced combat fans have come to expect," the official announcement revealed.
Activision has confirmed that Nuk3town will be available on day one as a downloadable bonus map (as an in-box download code) for anyone who purchases Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

It means that the level will be revamped to host the new momentum-based, chained movement system, while also retaining the nostalgia factor for fans of the COD franchise.
Players had the chance to try out some of the new features set to be included in Black Ops 3 this month, August 19 through August 23 saw users on the PlayStation 4 take the eight available Specialist characters for a spin on four multiplayer maps, with the all-new Weapon Paint Shop also open for business.
Mark Lamia, studio head of Treyarch said of the beta and its aim to gather feedback: “Our goal is to deliver the best Day One experience possible and this beta – along with the input from our passionate community of fans – has helped position us to do just that."
