Tottenham frustrated as club turn attention to transfer of Swansea striker Michu
Swansea striker Michu spent last season on loan at Napoli
TOTENHAM'S hopes of offloading Roberto Soldado this summer have taken a major blow.

The club were hopeful of selling Soldado, 30, to Sevilla at a discount price to what they paid for him two years ago.
But Liga outfit Sevilla appear to have passed on the offer and are now seeking to land Swansea striker Michu, claim Estadio Deportivo.

Michu, 29, had a stellar breakthrough season at Swansea but failed to kick on in the next campaign as injuries curtailed his form.
He was loaned out to Napoli last season and looks set to depart Garry Monk's side.
Sevilla reportedly see him as a competent replacement for Carlos Bacca, who quit the Europa League winners for Milan this summer.

And he would come in considerably cheaper than Soldado - the report claims - which would leave Spurs seeking a buyer as the transfer deadline looms.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is yet to spend big money at White Hart Lane this summer.

It is understood Soldado must be offloaded before they secure a new man.
Speaking prior to Spurs' 1-0 defeat at Manchester United yesterday, Pochettino said: "We have our target, I think in the next few days maybe something will happen.
"No worries about that and the people won't worry about the team because we have a lot of good players that can play like a striker."
