Man United legend slams David de Gea's 'awkward' situation with Louis van Gaal
Louis van Gaal claims David De Gea refused to play for him
FORMER Manchester United legend Edwin Van Der Sar has vented his frustration at the current goalkeeping situation at Old Trafford.

David De Gea has been left out of all three of United's opening games this season as a move to Real Madrid continues to be discussed.
Sergio Romero has taken the No.1 jersey after Victor Valdes was told he wouldn't be included in Van Gaal's plans this season.
And the situation between Van Gaal and De Gea is now untenable, according to Sunday Mirror Sport, as the Dutchman accused the keeper of refusing to play.

A source close to De Gea said: “David just doesn’t get on with Van Gaal - and his relationship with goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek is even more strained.”
And Van der Sar also believes the realtionship is over between the two. “It is obvious that there is a lot more going on in the background," he said. "There is stuff happening between Louis and De Gea.”
“I fear he (De Gea) is going to face ten very awkward months.

“As a former United employee and goalkeeper of the club, I find it astonishing that I see three established goalkeepers - De Gea, Anders Lindegaard and Victor Valdes - in the stand watching United play.
“Also, Sergio Romero is a free agent who has hardly played a league game over the past two years, yet is in the starting line-up.
“Cillessen’s name is being mentioned as a replacement for De Gea but, as as a director at Ajax, I am working hard to keep our best player.”
