David Beckham looked downbeat today following the 'dummygate' debate |
The 40-year-old slammed those who judged him as a father after pictures of his four-year-old daughter Harper emerged using a dummy.
David claimed critics has "no right" to judge him after many people claimed little Harper was too old to use a pacifier
And it seemed the former England captain still wasn't over the furore today, as he appeared downbeat as he left a spinning class in Los Angeles.
Dressed in a white T-shirt and shorts, the father-of-four kept a completely straight face and appeared to be deep in thought as he made his way to the gym from his car.
Yesterday, David hit back at his critics in a scathing attack posted on Instagram.
Singling out a report published by the Daily Mail which implied that Harper would face health problems in the future due to her continued use of a dummy, the legend defended his parenting skills to his 10.1 million followers.
"Why do people feel they have the right to criticise a parent about their own children without having any facts?" David asked.
"Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier," he continued.
"So those who criticise think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticise me as a parent."
The article in question claimed that Harper was "well beyond the age most health experts would advise giving a child a dummy" and that David and Victoria were putting her at risk of speech and dental developmental problems.
It continued to consult a variety of "parenting experts" who corroborated the claims.
