“I still have a second half ahead of me. Now I will play and live it like a man. I must try to do so, and I am certain I will.”

The striker, who scored just four goals for Liverpool last season, cost Reds manager Brendan Rodgers £16million when he arrived from this San Siro this time 12 months ago.
Discussing the move, he said: “All of a sudden. My agent Mino (Raiola) told me on Saturday: ‘Get your luggage and get on a private plane, you are going back to Milan’. There was no need for a private plane, I took a commercial flight and I returned.”
