GTA 5 Update: Rockstar reveal Online skills boost and new gear and vehicle incentives
GTA Online fans will be pleased with the continuing cash boosts being added to the game
ROCKSTAR have given a new update on GTA 5 and how fans can look forward to a new skills boost for their online characters.
UPDATE ONE: Rockstar have released today's GTA Online bonus item and have also presented a new round of jobs created by fans.

Gamers logging into GTA 5 can get half off the meth suit for the Series A Funding Heist, a deal that will be replaced later in the week by another 24hr offering.
Having been given the ability to produce GTA Online Jobs within the heavily guarded confines of Los Santos International Airport and the Fort Zancudo Military Base, Rockstar have released the latest offerings from fans who have put their skills to the test.
Six new missions have been put together as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains expansion, with the latest creations listed below:
GTA 5 Update: Rockstar reveal Online skills boost and new gear and vehicle incentives
Fort Zancudo has been opened up to GTA 5 fans
Zancudo Team Death Match (PS3 & PS4) - A Team Deathmatch on the north side of Fort Zancudo including a fenced in layout providing a close quarters playground of mayhem.
Zancudo Zancrudo (Xbox 360 & Xbox One) - An action-packed GTA Race that feels more like an all-out war. As you wind your way through the military base, you'll be attacked from all angles by soldiers and competitors alike.
Tranchees vehiculees (PC) - This GTA Race takes place in the tight, narrow, walled-in outskirts of Fort Zancudo, giving players the unique opportunity to wall ride as they make their way through the course (this can be helpful when attempting to dodge the randomly placed Gas Cylinders and Explosive Barrels).
Bifta Kart Track 2 (PS3 & PS4) - A sprint-heavy kart race, set just inside the guard post at Los Santos International Airport. The default setting of 1 lap is all you need as you maneuver your Bifta around the meticulously laid out Large Tire Wall course.
LSIA GP (Xbox 360 & Xbox One) - With Fruit Stands filled with Health Packs to mimic race Pit Stops, You can leave the amount of laps at the default setting of 5, or crank it up for the true GP-feel.
AirPort_Crash (PC) - A small car crash scene on the outskirts of the airport, this deathmatch has plenty of wrecked vehicles and walls to take cover behind, but you’ll want to make a dash for a better weapon than the default Combat Pistol.
ORIGINAL: The games publisher have been looking to boost interaction with the Online Heists they added to the game earlier this year and their latest round of Los Santos offers and new content certainly has done that.
Ill-Gotten Gains included a large range of upscale items and vehicles to buy, with the only real way to afford it all is by completing the four-player missions.
Rockstar have also launched several new cash and RP boosts to GTA Online, letting fans build their character's skills and bank balances even further.
Last week saw the Humane Labs Raid become a worthwhile prospect again, with some of the vehicles and gear associated with it drastically dropping in price.
And from today till August 2, fans will be able to receive 2X GTA cash and RP for each of the set-Up missions and finale of the Series-A Funding GTA Online Heist.
The Elite Challenges can also provide a cash boost and include:
  • Complete in under 6:30
  • Kill 75 enemies
  • Nobody gets wasted

Rockstar have also announced alternative ways for fans to level up their characters, explaining via the newswire: "For those new to GTA Online (or looking to rank up their second characters to the requisite Rank 12), we're also pumping up the RP bonus on select GTA Online activities.
"Moreover, these will also help increase your character's Skills - which should come in handy when undertaking Heists."
Bonus Double RP activities this week include:
  • Gang Attacks
  • Mission: Out of Harmony
  • Missions: Deliver a Package Bonus
  • Deathmatch: All Kills
  • Deathmatch: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place finishes
  • Deathmatch: 3, 6 and 10 Kills
  • Deathmatch: Power Player, Kill When Close to Death
  • Vehicle Deathmatch: Kill Power Player
  • Survival: Wave Reached
  • Capture: RP Rewards for Collecting Mission Package
Rockstar also plan to run temporary mark downs on GTA Online gear and vehicles throughout the week, which will be announced here.
