Even though those odds indicate they will miss out on the top four, at stages yesterday they looked as though they could be back to close to their best. That needs to continue but 7-1 doesn't look a bad price to me at this moment.
Manchester City's late comeback against Watford had a real bearing on the Premier League winner odds. As the late kick-off entered the last 10 minutes, Arsenal were the 11-8 favourites for the title, and while the Gunners remain the same price, City are now 6-5 favourites while Spurs are the 10-1 third favourites.
At the bottom of the table Aston Villa are in deep trouble and 1-40 for the drop. They are joined at the head of the betting by Sunderland at 2-9 and Newcastle at 4-7.
It's the Capital One Cup semi-finals this week and at 29-20, Liverpool are slight favourites to win their first-leg at Stoke, while Manchester City are favourites to defeat Everton the next day at 21-20. City are 5-4 to lift the trophy with Liverpool 13-8, Everton 6-1 and Stoke 8-1.
