EDINSON CAVANI could be on Manchester United's summer shopping list providing Paris Saint-Germain find a big-name replacement.
Louis van Gaal is understood to be an admirer of the Uruguay international and is keen to bring in an experienced striker to play alongside Anthony Martial.
Wayne Rooney's form in front of goal this season has been poor, scoring just twice in 12 Premier League appearances.
And according to French newspaper L'Equipe, if Laurent Blanc can find a replacement he will sanction the sale of Cavani.
The 28-year-old is not expected to be handed a new deal at the Parc des Princes, with his current contract due to run until 2018.
And it's been reported he's unsettled in the French capital, being forced to play in a wide position to accommodate star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
United, however, are not alone in their admiration for the Uruguayan, with Arsenal and Chelsea also reportedly showing interest.

French news outlet Le10 Sport claim PSG have put a £32million fee on the striker, although this shouldn't deter any of the Premier League trio.
Cavani has made 14 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG this season, scoring eight times and prodding two assists.
