Hodgson and Neville have formed a formidable partnership |
The FA chief executive said: "Roy has got the full backing of the FA. I think he's going to continue in the role to the World Cup and I know he's motivated to do it.
"And I'm really pleased Gary has gone into management by taking the Valencia job.
I know Roy is delighted about that, too, and thinks it will be brilliant experience.
"Obviously, there's a difference between being a passionate ideas man to putting your head on the block.
"But it doesn't harm his chances at all of being a potential future England manager, because it's real experience."
The FA's chief executive revealed he's hoping Hodgson will lead England into the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
And Glenn admitted that Neville's chances of succeeding him "haven't been harmed" by his move into management in Spain with Valencia.
