Garry Schofield launches attack on Steve McNamara and demands he is axed as England coach
Garry Schofield has demanded Steve McNamara be removed from his role as England coach
FORMER Great Britain Garry Schofield has launched a scathing attack on Steve McNamara and demanded his removal as England coach.

McNamara is preparing his side for tomorrow's third and final Test against New Zealand as the national side seek a first series win since Great Britain whitewashed the Kiwis 3-0 in 2007.
Former Bradford boss McNamara has been in charge of England since 2010 and has yet to win a series. His contract is due to expire after this weekend's game and Schofield said: "There's no debate about it - he has to go.
"At times he has picked his favourites. The style of rugby he is playing doesn't make us competitive against the Aussies or New Zealand.
"He thinks playing the NRL style of play is going to help us beat them, but it's going to make it worse. His whole philosophy is wrong. You're judged by your success and at international level he hasn't had any - it's as simple as that."

McNamara has made two changes to his 19-man squad by bringing in Wigan scrum-half Matty Smith and Huddersfield winger Jermaine McGillvary.
But Schofield is adamant that Castleford playmaker Luke Gale deserved a chance to guide the team around the park.
The uncapped Gale will not now make a single appearance in the series.
Schofield said: "What is he picking Matty Smith for? Would I pick him over Luke Gale? No I wouldn't.
"Matty Smith is tried, tested and has failed miserably at this level. He can't handle the pressure."
