ONLY Arsene Wenger will decide how long he stays at Arsenal, according to former player Freddie Ljungberg.
The French boss has been at the club since 1996, winning several major honours, managing the Invincibles and overseeing the move to the Emirates Stadium.
In recent years, supporters have been more vocal in questioning how long Wenger should remain at the club after nearly a decade without silverware.
Two consecutive FA Cups has given Wenger more time but with his current contract due to expire in 2017, his tenure at the club will once again be up for debate.
Ljungberg, who made 313 appearances for the Gunners, feels Wenger’s achievements mean he’ll leave on his terms.
"It's all up to him, how long he wants to stay at the club," the former Sweden international told Omnisport.
"He's been there a long time but he's built how they play today, the style and the culture.
"It's what everyone talks about around the world, that's what people remember from Arsenal at the moment.
"So I think what he's done, whenever he wants to retire he can retire.
"He has a contract, he never breaks it, so at least that we know."
