Surprise decision from Pep Guardiola could affect Chelsea interest in Bayern Munich boss
Pep Guardiola has won two Bundesliga titles in charge of Bayern Munich
PEP GUARDIOLA is considering taking another break from football in a decision that could hamper Chelsea’s future plans, according to reports.

The Bayern Munich manager, 44, took a year out after leaving Barcelona in 2012 before taking up the post in Germany.
He has gone on to win two Bundesliga titles, the German Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup.

But reports are emerging that the Spaniard is keen to leave Bayern for a fresh challenge.
Chelsea are known suitors of the former midfielder and reportedly see him as a strong candidate to take over from Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho’s days appear numbered as he struggles to reverse Chelsea’s fortunes.
The defending Premier League champions currently sit 15th in the table, have lost five of their 10 top-flight games and were this week knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke.

Guardiola is said to be on a list of candidates for the Chelsea job but Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim the Blues will have to wait to get their man.
For Guardiola is deliberating over whether to take another year out of football.
During the 2012/13 season he spent much of his time in New York, away from the football limelight, and it is thought he may do the same again come next summer.
