MANCHESTER UNITED and Manchester City will be the only two teams contesting the title this season.
That is according to former Premier League star Jimmy Bullard.
United have shot to the top of the table.
City, however, have lost back-to-back games which has cast doubt from critics over their title chances.
But Bullard has overlooked Arsenal and Chelsea and thinks only United and City will be involved in the thick of the title race.
Speaking on behalf of Ladbrokes Rugby’s ‘Who’s Got The Balls’ campaign, Bullard told Express Sport: "I thought after the way started, it was game over.
"Chelsea have had the worst start possible, but now United have kicked into gear.
"They haven't been playing great but have been grinding out results.
"So I think it's gonna be between the two Manchester clubs. Liverpool are gonna struggle this season.
"For me, it's between City and United all day long."
United's title credentials will be tested when they travel to the Emirates on Sunday (4pm) to face Arsenal.
