Chris Coleman furious after being denied penalty as Euro 2016 celebrations put on ice
Wales manager Chris Coleman was left furious after Wales were denied a blatant penalty
PETERBOROUGH have sacked manager Dave Robertson.

FURIOUS Chris Coleman claimed that Wales were denied a blatant penalty as their Euro 2016 qualifying hopes had to be put on hold.

Coleman's men needed a win in front of their fanatical fans in Cardiff to make it to the finals in France next summer - but Israel spoiled the party.
Wales now need a point from their remaining two games, in Bosnia and at home to Group B minnows Andorra next month to make sure of qualification.
Coleman said: ""It was a blatant handball, it had to be a penalty. I don't know what the officials behind the goal are doing. When when they have the best view, they've got to make the call."

But the manager was still upbeat, adding: "It's both an anti-climax and a good point.
"The expectation was there we could get over the line, but it was never going to be easy. Israel came for a point, to not get beaten - I'm not complaining about that.
"I'd have bitten your hand off for four points from the two games we have had this week. The expectation last night was that we would win, but now we have to wait longer.
"In the past we'd have lost a game like that. We'd have got frustrated. "It's a shame for the supporters we didn't do it by beating Israel, but it is coming. The players are a bit frustrated, but we only need one point now." ends
