Windows 10: New operating system installed on 14 MILLION devices in just two days
Windows 10 is now available for free to those running Windows 7 and Windows 8
MICROSOFT claims 14 million computers are already running Windows 10, two days after its launch.

Microsoft this week rolled out its latest – and final – operating system, Windows 10.
The Redmond technology firm claims the update, which is free to any Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, has been installed on some 14 million computers in the past two days.
That's still a far cry from the company's goal of getting Windows 10 onto a billion devices within three years, but nonetheless a strong start.

Microsoft claims it is releasing the software in waves in some 190 countries, to ensure downloads go smoothly.
In a blog post late Thursday, Microsoft said it has not yet delivered Windows 10 to everyone who requested a free upgrade for computers running older Windows versions.
However the 14 million does include copies installed on new computers sold in stores, Microsoft has clarified.
Despite some slightly worrying security features –  reaction has been mostly favourable.

Reviewers have praised Microsoft, heralding the new Windows as an improvement over the last version, the touchscreen-focused Windows 8.
The new operating system will be the first to unite all Windows-powered devices – from sprawling desktop set-ups to svelte smartphones, multi-touch tablets, Raspberry Pis and even the firm's own Xbox One video game console.
Windows 10 combines many features from the desktop-focused Windows 7 and the touch-centric Windows 8.
