Star Wars Battlefront: Why Fighter Squadron action with X-Wings is a big deal
Star Wars Battlefront's X-Wing action is an immersive experience on the PS4
STAR Wars Battlefront's 10v10 battles with the additional 20 AI controlled ships makes for epically messy encounters.

I have played a lot of games at Gamesco, from mobile phones to VR and full driving simulators with three monitors and racing wheel control.
If you've never been, Gamescom has a constant background noise that even Turtle Beach and Titron struggle to mute out.
But Star Wars Battlefront's gameplay and design made me feel like I was really piloting an X-Wing.
Playing an alpha-build on the Playstation 4, the music was reflective of the Star Wars films and the sound effect of blaster and missiles rendered with fidelity to the series.
Ship models have been recreated to the finest details and the animations of them flying is just like the movement in the films
I played with an X-Wing ship on sullust, the volcano-riddled planet, where my 10v10 battle with an additional 20 AI controlled ships unfolded.
The battle begun with us heading towards a thick cloud of smoke with a number of red dots in the distance to indicate the enemy ships. There was a calm and sense of commradery between us as we flew side by side ready to engage.
If there was a microphone attached to the headset I would have screamed "red ten standing by".
Once we engaged the battle turned into disoriented mess of lasers, fire and metal. In the chaos I managed to lock on to a few TIE Fighters and flew into engage. Once you pick a target it is very easy to follow their movements while shooting.
You could tell the difference between between AI and humans by the movement paths the ships took. your fellow players will tend to dodge around your shots, where as the AI seemed to take them more.
The game had a score limit of 200 with one point destroying an AI ship and three for a player. I thought that the battles would go on for a long time but they seemed to clock in at around the twelve minute-mark.
There were also additional enemy and ally transports with the goal being to destroy or protect respectively.
When this occurred the frantic mess changed to a streamlined coordinated style of gameplay based around a clear objective.
