FIFA 16 will be released early to play on Xbox One via EA Access
FIFA 16 is just round the corner and for those impressed by the new footage seen at Gamescom there is a way to get your hands on it ahead of its September 24 release date.

New information on features set to be included in FIFA 16 have been released this week during the Cologne event, including revamps to the Career Mode.
Previewed at Gamescom, it seems Career Mode will include two top requested features missing from earlier titles in the successful football franchise, EA had already announced the new FUT Draft system set to be added during their press conference.
These changes are available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC only unfortunately, so if you want the full experience you may need to upgrade to a new-gen console.
For those owning an Xbox One, there will also be the chance to play the game earlier if you own EA Access.
Those with an EA Access membership get to dive into FIFA 16 five full days before it launches, with a 10 percent saving on all EA digital purchases, including additions to FIFA 16, and the chance to play upcoming EA games on Xbox One for a limited time before their release along with the ability to keep your progress if you decide to purchase the game.
In FIFA 16, a key development period is being added to Career Mode, pre-season.
Your club will now be invited to three out of a possible nine tournaments, played in Asia, Europe, Latin America, or North America.
These matches will be your opportunity to work on your team tactics and line-ups before the start of the regular season - use all your subs to test squad players. The prize purse from these tournaments gets allocated to your transfer budget for the upcoming season.

Managers will be able to train their squad to increase player attributes and boost player development with the selection of up to five squad players to train from a number of training drills, each focused on developing specific attributes.
Other key changes to Career Mode include:
  • Sign free agents outside of the transfer window.
  • Scout Reports - After scouting a player reports are available to you now for an entire calendar year before expiring vs three months in FIFA 15.
  • Transfer Budget -Transfer budgets are now more realistically tailored to the club you're using in Career Mode. Also, a percentage of the remaining budget from the previous season will carry over to the next. and will vary based on where your club finished in regards to season goals.
  • Loans - Short loans have increased from three to six months and there is now an option to issue two-year loans.
  • Friendly Subs - You will be able to issue an unlimited number of substitutions during friendly matches.
  • More Realistic Transfers - While the transfer window is open, we have tuned the number of ‘high-profile’ moves by big players to better match the number of changes that typically happen in the real-world.
  • Improved Player Transfer Values - The values of players have been addressed to better match the real-world transfer market.
