EXCLUSIVE: 'I'm not an amazing dancer' Jess Glynne won't be competing on Strictly
Jess Glynne admitted that she's a bad dancer at V Festival
SHE is lined up to perform on the opening show next month, however it doesn’t look like Jess Glynne will be competing on Strictly Come Dancing for the glitterball anytime soon.
The hitmaker ruled out an appearance on the hit BBC1 show because her dancing isn’t up to scratch, while speaking exclusively to the NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com at V Festival – Hylands Park last night.

The 25-year-old, who currently has the official UK number one – her fifth – with Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself, previously revealed she would be singing on the new series via her Twitter page on Thursday.

Reality TV star Peter Andre is the latest addition to this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up
When asked if she would ever join the line-up and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Pixie Lott and Frankie Bridge, Jess replied: “I’m not the most amazing dancer so I might not do that. I love watching it.”
Just hours earlier, the singer broke down while on stage at the music event as she sang a stripped back version of, My Love.
On her emotional set, Jess commented: “That was probably one of the most amazing festival gigs I have ever done. It was overwhelming. Walking out onto the stage with all those faces was very, very insane.”
The London-born star also caught up with Sam Smith afterwards, who recently helped her through surgery on her vocal chords, just weeks after her had a similar procedure.
Speaking about their friendship and her difficult summer, Jess said: “I love him. He’s a special guy.
“We were talking a lot, we had both been experiencing problems and asking each other for advice. Then he had the op, and he put me in contact with the doctor he saw thankfully.”
Jess also admitted there had been moments when she thought her voice wouldn’t return to how it was, adding:  “I was so concerned.
"It was the most terrifying thing to go through because no one can say to you, ‘you will 100 per cent be fine’.
“Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself has really helped me in the past few months. It’s been that song that I listened to that gave me so much hope. It made me feel so good.”
Jess Glynne’s new single Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself is out now.
